Global investment specialist, Michele Faissola has over 30 years of experience in financial services, with areas of expertise including investment banking, asset management and wealth management. He has served on the board of multiple businesses which span across a variety of sectors from finance and retail, to technology and energy.

In 2020, Michele launched the Faissola Foundation, a non-profit educational organisation in honour of his parents who have devoted their lives to the field of pedagogy. The foundation aims to assist children in their educational endeavors by providing them with motivation, financial and emotional support. They offer young people opportunities to gain knowledge, experience and resources to help them strive for professional and personal success. The Faissola Foundation strongly believes that all children deserve a brighter future.

With Michele Faissola’s father working as the headmaster of multiple schools in Liguria and his mother as an elementary school teacher for 40 years, education has been an important constant throughout his life. Now with two children of his own, Michele’s vantage point with regards to learning - from the child of two teachers, a student himself and a parent - has shaped his point of view.

His professional life and expertise in investment, entrepreneurship and technology, mixed with a passion for education from his own experience and opinion, inspired Michele to begin writing down his thoughts.
